Forever 21 Day

As I have been ranting during the start of December, here was what I was actually waiting.

I turned 21 last December 10. One of my wished were “quite” granted, coz I have been praying for the rain to stop —- and it did though. Almost. Haha. There was a little sunshine during that day. I did not actually feel it was my bday, you know. As I have tweeted, its been normal —- too normal unlike all the other bdays. I guess that’s how one actually feels when their age has surpassed the teen years. You can still fake twenteen a teen though, but not 21 really. HAHA.

Anyhoo, in as much as I wanted to complete the Taylor Swift CD collection for my bday, I had to dream a little more for that in the next year coz the moolah I needed are not yet in my bare hands. Plus, I wanted to decorate my room and I wanted a new study table thingy and I wanted to place my books in a book shelf already and I want the Zara casual comfy clothes I have to abandon for the sake of buying the elegant one and I want iPhone with Siri and I want a Canon DSLR, the one with the video.Hm-m. But when my Mom asked me what I wanted for my bday, I told her “Nothing really.”

Because I have wishes that were far greater than all the material things I wanted. And I wanted to take all the luck and chances that a birthday could give you to grant it all first.

So first was the rain. Then the office off day. Then this PNK thing. Then a happy family day:)

For the gifts, it has been our family tradition to blow a cake (because not all the celebrants are doing that anymore, right?) and give exciting gifts. Haha. So I received stuffs from my parents.

I will not understand if my Mom would spend a hundred dollars for a head band. Of course she did not. But this hair accessory is —- in real life —- costs a hundred bucks. She got it after Ferragamo slashes off a huge discount. I told her she could have just given me the money and you know, I could have completed my own sanctuary of TS cds. Hoho.

This is the only thing you would actually pay for. The name. Lulz.

Got some Giordano stuffs too! Because my work is very demanding in terms of clothes. HAHA :3

And lastly, my father’s gift. I don’t know if most fathers are like my father but you know, he is something really sweet to us (her daughters). He treats us all (including mom) his precious princesses. When we were kids, he would actually tell us to watch Disney Princesses movies and he would write us Father love letters during special occasions (such as birthdays). The writing of letters never grow old but then he added a twist to it lately.

Instead of the cards (which were not just your ordinary Hallmark card but an exclusive one), he gave me this.

Newspaper clippings of the best 2 concerts of my life! :) Looking back, I think I was busy with the school stuffs and all and forget about documenting every single thing of those days. Never thought my dad would actually do it for me. Haha. And I’ve got a letter too (with his doodle version of Taylor Swift).

So there. I just want to thank the good God for everything. 21 years and still breathing you know! That ain’t a joke.

Iglesia Ni Cristo Pagsamba ng Kabataan PinakaMasiglang Dako 2011 was awarded to our PNK Dako —- for the 4th time and for 4 straight years!

We watched Wont Last A Day Without You and dine at Makati and shopped a Zara dress :)

And I am somehow thankful that this skill of him was one of the things I inherited from him :D
